So I bide in Edinburgh. This is fab. 3 bonus from 3 is the best start in years. Maybe ever! Edinburgh for the silverware this year!

If only. A very toung squad, doing good things, but people will put out the A team soon enough. 1872 gonna be VERY tasty this year though

Good, he's a fantastic winger. Can't wait to see him back on the wing, tearing up the URC and rocking the Millenium Stadium

What an awful idea. The six nations is about heritage, prestiage, rivalries and traveling fans. Not fucking America.

We have this new tournament, let the finals weekend be in Chicago or Phili for that. Not the six nations

Pros obviously learned on the larger ball. I'd like to hear the grassroots opinion more!

1610 BST kick off for us today, fab for the western hemisphere, tough one for the Kiwis. And the first of a 4 match series culminating in Baltimore of all places.

Anyway, the Saffer on the bus is backing the bomb squad as I write this, so who's your money on today? Reactions, predictions, and shitposts all appreciated today, happy Saturday!

No TRC is weird. Here's why. Poor Australia and Argentina

Hey everyone, I attended the Queens Rugby Club training session tonight. Originally intended to watch and do a couple of drills, ended up doing 50%-60%, tapped out of the tackles and scrums to be safe. I want to keep going, but I’m in my 40’s and not worked out much, definitely feeling it in my body tonight. I played in PE in secondary school, but I’m definitely lacking in knowledge!

I’ll most likely be a forward based on my size (220lbs 5’9) but I don’t know my specific position yet.

Any advice on working out routines to help me get stronger and suggestions on what to focus on when I’m not at practice?

I’m also a sweater, what material do you recommend for playing? Definitely dropped the ball a bunch because of how hot and humid it was.

Any recommendations for videos online to help with rules and playing tips?

Teams from all around the Mountain West met in Steamboat Springs this weekend for some high elevation action. Yes, those are goal posts made out of aspen trees, not remotely straight, but who cares, it’s cute.

The good guys, Boulder RFC, finished 5th out of 12 teams. Match scores were 19-34 (L), 47-5 (W), and 34-7 (W). Not the result we wanted but at least it showed us exactly what we need to work on once the regular season starts in the fall.

Shoutout to the women’s side for winning the whole women’s tourney

It would be a watershed moment in the sport. Really hope we don't see a repeat of last year, but if we do: Jamie George showing some good captaining a must!

Enjoy the rugby folks

Loads of rugby again!

What an opener too. A real rivalry between Ireland and NZ, can the green team get a first win in like 100 years at Eden Park tomorrow?

I'm off to the Fiji game, tries ahoy!

And what a closer after the football this week too. England keen to show the world they are a good team. And a good team keen to show the world that England aren't.

Any predictions? Reactions and shitposts all appreciated!

Good read in the wake of their win in the roundball the other night. I'd love a world cup in Argentina, sounds great fun

A short read about The Nations Championship. Fiji and Japan hopefully next year to be given better status. I'm looking forward to being a fake Fijian next week, got my top ready!

Hungover as sin, sorry it's late. But what a round 2 we have. I'm predicting a 3-3 again this week. With a NZ, SA, and Arg wins, but tight margins in them all. Anyone else brave enough to call some wins? As always, predictions, reactions, and shitposts all appreciated, and enjoy your rugby!

Nothing more American than rugby on the 4th of July. As an American, it’s pretty rare to have test match rugby just minutes away from your house, let alone a doubleheader. Wish I could comment on the Tonga v Zimbabwe game, was too busy getting obliterated in the parking lot. US game was an absolute thriller.

Got to go onto the pitch afterwards and watch some fantastic fireworks

Even made it on TV!

It is here. Long talked about, semi-enthusiastically embraced, and definitely not a cash grab. The not world cup is here in non-lions, non-world-cup years for the first time with the winner getting not even a trophy! A replacement for the summer and autumn tests (as the NH call things), and formalising what teams were already doing, now with a finals weekend in London. I do fancy heading down myself, I like the idea of a weekend of north vs south in Twickenham.

So lots of matches to kick things off, a long day of rugby if you want! And they honestly all looking a cracking fixture. Will an ascendant Italy take on Jones' Japan? Will Wales scrape a win vs underfunded Fiji? Will stuttering Ireland bash the underperforming Wallabies? NZ vs France. South Africa wanting to smash the English. And Argentina wanting to cement their smash and grab from last year against Scotland

That's 14 hours of rugby, and all should be top quality. As always, predictions before, reactions during, and analysis after all very welcome, and shit-posts and pitch shots very much saught

Happy international rugby eve!

International Rugby Union is back this weekend and I for one can't wait! Scotland getting to finally play the big boys in the summer schedules, wahoo! Wales however need some solid performances to steady the ship here. Not wage disputes
