"And now I want to hand it over to the president of Ukraine, who has as much courage as he has determination, ladies and gentlemen, President Putin," Biden said, referring to Zelenskyy, before realising his error and correcting himself.

To a question about what concern he has about Vice-President Kamala Harris's ability to beat Donald Trump if she ran for the top job, Biden replied: "I wouldn't have picked Vice-President Trump to be vice-president if I didn't think she was qualified to be president".

US Press: BREAKING NEWS: BIDEN MESSED UP NAMES DURING 1 HOUR AND A HALF OF COHERENT ANSWERS TO ALL KINDS OF QUESTIONS.

Also in the news, Trump lies, mumbles, rambles and grunts about how he will turn America into a shittier, wannabe version of Nazi Germany.

As long as I gave it my all and I did the goodest job as I know I can do, that's what this is about.

Eh. The dude has never been any good at public speaking. Even in the 80's when we thought he was a good speaker, it turned out he totally plagiarised his speech from some British politician.

I'm not really invested in this whole "Biden bad" campaign that is all the rage. None of the stuff is critical of the actual policies his government has produced. All the criticism is about he's old and surrounding himself with experts who are doing all the good work. Frankly, I'd be fine with that if I were a US citizen. He can be the figurehead and people who know their fields can effectively recommend the right policies. Sure beats their last president who was all "lets nuke a storm!" and other stupid stuff.

Should the USA have better options? Yes. Absolutely. Can their political system cope with someone actually good? I don't think so. Even the "good" presidents I have seen in my lifetime have ultimately been disappointing once in the oval office.

Guys, this is good, we can confuse Jim Crow Joe into killing the IDF instead of Palestinians if we just let him rot a little longer

Possibly the most demanding and stressful job in the world. Even 'young' guys come out looking 20 years older.

I know! Let's have two eighty year olds run for president! Democracy rocks!

I am not in the US and struggle to understand why things work the way they do but it seems large parts of the country are impossibly conservative in ways that outsiders simply can’t comprehend. Things that seem like common sense to everyone else can’t happen there for very deep cultural reasons that aren’t in the normal experience of people in other western democracies. They depend on their Supreme Court to decide law on things that elsewhere are determined by legislation because any politician taking a political stance is painting a target on themselves. It doesn’t seem like an environment favorable to young leaders who want to make a difference.

The country was broken by electing a man with brown skin and the thought of electing a woman after sent them firmly down the path to Christian nationalist fascism. Not sure I would want to see how they react to a young candidate. I imagine it would be savage. I think the age of the president is by far a lesser concern than their executive team and policies and given both are extremely old and with very obvious health issues they cancel out so people should focus on more important differences.

Part of the problem for the Democrats is that an entire generation of talent was wiped out under Obama. A lot of the candidates who would have come through and been at the right age now never had a chance under his presidency. The Democrats lost more House, Senate, state legislative and governors seats during his eight years in power than during any other period in history.
