Eh. Iāve given in and paid much more than I wanted for a duplicate pair of Cotton On trackies from years ago. Because these days to keep trying to get a comfortable cheap pair without the opportunity to try them on is throwing good money after bad. š
(That also allowed me to get a manual paper shredder on clearance - the noise of the motorised one is intolerable so it doesnāt get used.)
I got only one pair though because I will be going through and culling my clothes in an effort to find the other cheap ones I hadā¦ they canāt have walked off on their own. Also even if the $30 ones are quality Melbcatās claws will pull out many threads before too long, or Iāll stain them. Thatās why I buy cheapā¦ Between the two of us nice things donāt last.
Pretty angry about it. I was happy with bare bones cotton basics until they became so ill fitting as to cause discomfort. You shouldnāt have to pay premium to have a usable item.
Even just the cost of basic groceries is obscene now
