zero sum gratitude thread!
Woke up at bumfuck o'clock and couldn't get back to sleep, but it meant I could get my big daily walk in before work and thus I blew past 10,000 steps before 11am.

Been an exhausting day today and didn't get much of a lunch break but now I get to look after the reception desk and hopefully it won't be too busy for a bit then I get to go home!
It's a bit foggy out. Looking out the window I see one set of street lights and then a lot of black.
It's been such a beautiful sunny day ๐๐๐
Yeah, just not in Melbourne.
Well one pair of missing trackies has been found in a bag from a previous hospital trip.
The other pair are completely gone. They either have to have been in the clothes that got ruined and thrown out - otherwise those were some moths.
Amazon seem to lose a few parcels lol. They lost a phone case I ordered while I was staying at the AirBNB a month ago, and they lost my favourite rice crackers today. I got a refund last time, but this time I just wanted my crackers so I contacted them. Apparently they're resending it with same day delivery. Excluding uber parcels, and all the knockoff uber style delivery people, I've never had a parcel arrive same day before. I have the option on some things with Amazon, but even with prime, you have to spend 50 bucks to get it for free. Otherwise it's free next day
bwa haha
I just got the new special sticky plastic delivered for the sofa so the cats can't scratch it
That pleading look my little dog gives me when he sees me eating twiggy stix. Can't give him any cos they the "spicy" ones.
@CEOofmyhouse56 @Seagoon_ You just reminded me of something thst happened a couple of weeks ago.
When we first adopted our babies, wifey used to often give in and give them scraps from what she's eating. I never did.
Fast forward a couple of years.
I'm eating dinner in the living room, wifey's having dinner in bed.
She was joined by all three cats.
Mewing incessantly.
"Why do they always leave you alone at dinner time, yet always pester me for food?" shd asks.
I reply: "Because you trained them to!"
Iโm going to make a coffee because I donโt want to waste the last of my milk.
I also forgot to buy milk today ๐คฆโโ๏ธ

Processed cheese sandwich on plain white bread - no butter or mayo please. And a glass of water.
