I haven't lived in nz a few years now and this topic came up with my mum. One random thing I hated as it financially crippled me at the time was when it was my bday and having to shout others beer or lunch. Living overseas it's been the opposite, the group pays for you on your bday Am I right that in Nz you shout when it's your bday? Or it's changed now? Or a Southern thing from where I'm from...
