I'm appauled by apparent advocacy of reverse mortgage schemes by the Retirement Commissioner. I'm 75. It's bad enough that so much wealth has ended up with my generation. It's horrible to hear government officials suggest we draw down that wealth and pass on less to younger generations... while handing property to the financial sector.
