I don’t know why my split system does this but I can’t change it from heating to cooling.
To get around it I have to go into my bed room and set that one to either heating or cooling with a remote then walk back into my living room and using that remote turn on the system and it’ll be set to whatever setting I used in the bed room.
If I try and directly move from heating and cooling the split system will double beep at me and won’t switch or turn on.
Frustrating to say the least.

Anyone else on iOS 18 with an older iPhone? If so, how’s the battery? I’m at 90% health but the battery “feels like” is Deffo less than that. Wasn’t good on iOS 17, but it feels worse on iOS18 for some reason.
