EDIT: I contacted the support and they actually gave me the credit back!

Original:

Somehow, I have missed this email in my inbox:

"Hi XYZ,

We noticed you haven't logged in to your Trade Me account since February, 2023.

We have a policy of closing accounts that have been inactive for over 18 months. If you wish to keep your account open, simply login before 19 Aug 2024.

If you do not login, your account will be closed and your $111.35 Trade Me credit will expire."

This was the only email from TradeMe about this, and it got lost in the mountain of spam. But sure enough, I logged in to my account today, and in the "Account Statement" section of my profile it says "20 Aug 2024 Account forfeit - unused for 18 months", and the balance is $0.

This is a massive scam. How didn't I get notified multiple times? How can you even put this into a company's T&Cs? Can I do something, or is the money gone? I do use TradeMe occasionally, so this is a bit of shocker.
