I always have to point and go "you see that thingy between the aisles??" because I don't know what else to call it.

But heads up to non-retail folk, we call the long free-standing coolers and freezers in ~~action alley~~ the middle of the floor bunkers.

We call that middle section with bunkers and ~~four-ways~~ smaller grocery displays "action alley". God knows why.

The lengths they'll go to to refuse to admit those started as Pallets, as if anyone ever held that against them.

As Alice explained, grocery stores call those standalone freezer bins 'bunkers'.

I didn't know this, so when I asked a Walmart employee where they moved the frozen potatoes to, and she said "the bunker," my first thought was "oh no."

The original artist of these comic panels, webcomicname, always makes the punchline "oh no." (and actively encourages fan-made content using their concept/panels).

Edit: I made this comic specifically to text to a friend who works at Walmart and is familiar with the original artist. I didn't plan to share it on Lemmy bc it's a pretty niche/specific joke, but someone else posted an original comic from webcomicname, so I figured I'd take the opportunity
