I can see it for SSSBs because nobody even knows what they are actually for, but nog should have loved the idea of getting a piece of land. Buying up property and renting it out without actually providing any value yourself is one of the hallmarks of any successful ~~capitalist~~ ferengi. It’s just latinum in a different shape
