Drag has spent all day in voice chat with drag's trans friends in America and now they're crying. They're going to die if they don't pack up their entire lives and never see their family again, and they don't even know how to financially accomplish that. No matter what happens, their lives as they know them are over, and they're going to suffer. They thought they had more time. They thought Harris was going to win. Now they know that if they can't get out, they're going to be murdered. They're scared and sad and they're crying.

Fuck every single person who contributed to this. Drag's friends didn't deserve this. Whatever fascist agenda made anyone think this was an okay outcome, fuck them. This is not okay!

Those who loved you yesterday still love you today. The legal protections may be changing for the worse, but the actual people caring about LGBT+ friends and loved ones are still all here. We did before, regardless of what the law said, and we will now. I think it's important to hold onto that going forward. Those of us with differences from what is now the mainstream need to keep sticking together no matter which way the wind blows. Drag and drag's friends are included in my support for sure.

I am so very sorry, Drag. I can't believe my country made this choice. I am so afraid. I am so disappointed. I am so angry. I am so sad.

I hope Drag's friends are ok. I wish I knew what to tell myself and my friends to do, too.

Drag is going to study the immigration laws in drag's country and figure out who's responsible for deciding the policy on refugees. And then drag is going to take to the streets and call for refugee visas for trans Americans. We can ALL do something about this.

It's really hard to take you seriously when you continue to do the third-person thing, it seems like you're making a joke of the matter.

This is NOT THE TIME.

Cry all you want. It won’t do anything. Drag queens can still buy long range guns.

Do something or die.

They’re going to die if they don’t pack up their entire lives and never see their family again

Hopefully that's hyperbolic. Not saying its impossible (my state in particular has been building databases of trans people and definitely not for trans people's benefit). Unfortunately, there's a sizable chunk of the population who wanted trans people to suffer more.

They thought Harris was going to win.

Its a campaign that has been running on "fuck you, we don't need your vote" messaging from day 1 towards some of its most loyal voting demographics. The fact that some where projecting it to be even been close was a miracle and was based on a great overestimation of turnout. Its not like Trump did significantly better than 2020.

They still thought that the leftists in America had a heart. Drag thought the leftists had a heart.

There is no left movement in America. Americans would let drag's friends be sent to concentration camps because they hated Harris more than they hated genocide. If you only oppose genocide when the politician is nice to you, you're not a leftist. It's just virtue signalling. When the cards were down, America chose fascism, and everyone saying not to vote for Harris is responsible. Those are the people who killed the leftist movement. It's all over now. Those of them who aren't bots and Russian trolls can enjoy their shiny new police state, and keep blaming Harris for their own actions.

How could anyone with a heart vote for someone openly defend unconditional support for mass murder of children?

If you only oppose genocide when the politician is nice to you, you’re not a leftist.

Not sure who you are talking about here. People who refused to vote for genocide regardless of the candidate aren't conditionally against genocide: that's the people voting for Harris. The same people who told trans people to shut up for pointing out the record lack of representation or support by the Harris campaign compared to other recent campaigns. Those aren't people who are going to do anything to protect trans people. They just wouldn't actively target them, so at least blue states would be relatively safe unlike what we got.

Harris threw the election. The Harris campaign is responsible for their own campaign and the DNC is responsible for picking such an historically unpopular candidate for their candidate without even getting input from voters.

Kamala was less popular as VP among democrats than Trump was as president among republicans. Yeah. Trump is awful. Unfortunately he has a base of awful people who favor that. Emulating that behavior doesn't make someone popular among people who'd vote democrat.

I'd love to go away from this country and especially from this state. Probably should have done it back when Biden announced he was running for a second term.
