Prohibitionists always keep a private supplier handy. This is particularly true when talking about rabid moralists... But I repeat myself.

Jokes on him, I'm taking Vyvanse. Obvious fuck him and his worm food he calls a brain.

Just a reminder that it isn't too late to tear this asshole and his cronies out of power

Well, there's fundamental human right. The right to rebellion, to revolution.

No single person out here can exercise that right. It has to be exercised en masse. But we do not have to accept things as they are.

[–] xmunk@sh.itjust.works 6 points 1 month ago

Honestly, it may come to that... but if it does it's going to fucking suck - out ancestors would probably thank us at least.

[–] LodeMike@lemmy.today 4 points 1 month ago (1 children)

That's what I was expecting thank you.

So you're saying we should Stop the Steal? Why does that seem familiar? Where have I heard this rhetoric before? Hmm.

[–] southsamurai@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

No, I'm saying we need to tear down the status quo and rebuild the nation entirely. This isn't about putting the other party in power, it's about changing everything and preventing the same bullshit here that happened in Germany almost a hundred years ago that everyone seems to have forgotten.

Don't be snide, btw, it isn't impressive when people are having a serious discussion about a subject that potentially could end in yet another nightmare for not just one country, but all of humanity.

It isn't just the US that's having a fascism problem, we just have the most obvious one

[–] higgsboson@dubvee.org -4 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Advocating insurrection just like a MAGAt.

[–] southsamurai@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 month ago

nah, I'm not talking insurrection, I'm talking revolution. There's a difference. Idgaf if you like it or not, but the difference is there.

So, you know, bugger off

[–] BreadOven@lemmy.world 8 points 1 month ago

Direct action maybe?

[–] 4lan@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

That’s one of the ways to build up the prison work force to replace all the deported migrants

[–] Subdivide6857@midwest.social 6 points 1 month ago

We’ll be like herding cats without our meds.

I mean he specifically said prison labor for the "wellness" farms - like prisons don't have inmates do hard labor on farms (I'm looking at you Louisiana with your fucking slave plantation prisons).

The idea of a place where you have to work the fields and aren't allowed access to the outside world is a reeducation camp. He's saying "you go there voluntarily"... Instead of a standard prison, which Republicans have done everything they can to make as harrowing a place as possible.

Go to reeducation gulag or go rot in a hole isn't much of a choice, even if we smear it with the fecal veneer of "wellness culture"

[–] Fredselfish@lemmy.world 7 points 1 month ago

Not yet and I don't care he didn't say forced, but it will be. How elde they going put people on those "farms"?

[–] afansfw@lemmynsfw.com 7 points 1 month ago

also legal drugs, other psychiatric drugs, if they want to, to get off of SSRIs, to get off of benzos, to get off of Adderall, and to spend time as much time as they need — three or four years if they need it — to learn to get reparented, to reconnect with communities, to understand how to talk to people. There'll be job training, particularly in the trades

Seems more like slavery.

And also no devices there, it will be amish paradise

[–] nul42@lemmy.ca 4 points 1 month ago

They will be called dilution camps because homeopathy

[–] stinky@redlemmy.com 2 points 1 month ago
