I'd love to talk to one of the 19 percent of Republicans supporting Hamas π

Gosh, I wonder how that happened? /s
A pathetically small number of Americans are against genocide. The entire country is a lost cause, I don't think it gets better from here.
The US, like Israel, is a settler-colonial state. And itβs the global imperial hegemon. And it was a slave state, in fact it still is.
I donβt like this partisan phrasing. Thereβs only a 6% difference between democrat and Republican support of Hamas.
Seriously, 6% is overwhelming now?
Yeah I wonder what the margin of error is.
Why would we make this an Israel vs Hamas thing? It's very obviously an Israel vs Palestine thing. That'd be like if terrorists were bombing American schools and hospitals, and the news framed it as Terrorists vs Republicans. Nobody supports Hamas, we all support Palestine.
Because Hamas are freedom fighters and Israel are terrorists.
What else do you want to support, the PA?
Nobody supports Hamas
I explicitly support Hamas. I also support the several hundred other orgs fighting Zionism, but I support Hamas too.
In an ideal world, I support one of the opposition parties to Hamas.
But pragmatically, in reality, that's just not feasible. Palestine's main defensive power is Hamas. So while I agree it's an Zionist Regime vs. Palestine conflict, Hamas is to Palestine what the IOF is to the Zionist Regime - that is, their military power. It doesn't really mean much if someone "supports Israel in the conflict but doesn't support the IDF", that doesn't make sense outside of abstract ideas.
Nobody supports Hamas
I support Hamas, and I know plenty of others who do.
Was choosing "neither; both suck" an option? Because it doesn't seem like it, from the article, but I can't tell.
