In Colorado.

Should be nationwide.

I’m surprised this is even in the US at this point.

Even getting this in 1 place is amazing under the Nazi regime - but I agree

Should be worldwide

I like that there's some petty little bitch that downvoted everyone replying to this. Just block the community, you chud. (talking to the downvoter, if that isn't clear)

This is so fucking heartening

This is first heartening headline I've read in weeks, my brain even tried to misread it.

Highly recommend Colorado if people are seeking a blue state to move to in the US! The legal protections are some of the best, we have a super majority Democrat state government that's gotten even more left leaning under Trump, and there's tons of community for queer folks in Denver.

Isn't it super expensive to live there? I've been eyeing other states, but it's a hard sell when my current state is so affordable

[–] NelDel@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 2 weeks ago

It's definitely more expensive, especially for owning rather than renting (median house price is like $500-600,000) . There are more affordable neighborhoods scattered around the area but yeah monthly costs are pretty high. I personally felt the trade offs were worth it for me to move, but totally understand the cost being a big issue.

Before I opened the article, I wondered what country this was. Imagine my surprise!
