Just read an article saying that the number of people guessing the Wordle right on the first attempt is way higher than statistically likely, so it means they are cheating by looking up the answer before they attempt the puzzle. I can only assume this is so they can brag about getting it right first time? And here I was thinking the fun of the game was in the solving, but for some people it’s all about winning internet points and lauding it over others. Ah humans.

Looks like a nice day for a walk. 😊 Also, there are no cat fights or nutella stealers outside. 😨

I saw the movie Ruby Gillman: Teenage Kraken today.

I could've sworn the matriarch was voiced by Carrie Fisher. But it was Jane Fonda.

The similarities in their voices is strong.

I was way too enthusiastic with my cauliflower serving size tonight, I am completely stuffed and moving from the couch won't be happening for a while. Miss Meow approves of this.

Melbcat’s biscuits arrived! She was keen to try them, they’re also quite hard but with effort she crunched a small amount down. I’m hoping it’s not too difficult for her.

My spinach are starting to grow tiny second leaves. Some slow release fertiliser might speed things up but I’m not sure if it’s the right kind for the carrots

Edit: Checking my history I sowed the cat grass about a month ago and barely any have sprouted. It’s been about 20 days for the spinach and carrots and I feel despite fairly quick sprouting they’ve slowed down.

Is it still considered bible bashing if 3 members, one of which was elderly and reclining on a walker, and a board was set up outside coles and they don't even make eye contact nor thrust a pamphlet in your face? I feel rejected. May I have a warm hug?

you already look saintly you don't need the leaflet

[–] CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 6 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Oh gosh. I've got a sore shoulder so it's possible I had my cunt face on.

Saints often become saints after suffering greatly. They don't smile that much.

First quote done for reverse cycle, they're a bit nebulous on the accreditation rebate for removal of gas (apparently literally meeting this afternoon to see if they pass the criteria), but we're looking around 14k.

...that's a beefass whole house unit, using the floor ducts, 8 vents, ripout of existing and installing completely new ducting, knocking through brickwork for the outside condenser (the current gas is literally under the house), running the new 30a wiring and removal of ye gas giant including shutoffs. Not too shabby. We have to go with a pricier daikin due to the leak detection features of the unit (as it's in an enclosed space under the house and next to the brewery) which other models don't have but I will confess I doooooo like an aircon installer who flat out refuses to even entertain the thought of compromise on safety and certification.

....upon reading reviews of daikin systems we need to discuss alternates.

yawns uncontrollably from two consecutive nights of insufficient sleep

Why did I book a flight leaving at 7:20am

E: ah yes, traffic. Was just beginning to bubble up on my way, glad that everything has gone smoothly so far. Off to Brisvegas and trying my best to stay awake 💤

I’m hoping the cat biscuits arrive today. I should have just got an Uber and bought them in the shop

So I've been needing to get a new desk chair for my WFH set up for so long - my partner put in an argument for an investment into a gaming chair which I bought and set up yesterday....my god this chair is fucking amazing! I'm now tempted to nap in this chair today because it's so comfortable.

Joy. Nothing like finding your pc has dropped every drive bar C:, then on reboot gives the drives back but then reports c:\ has a S.M.A.R.T value of 18% right before a public holiday.
