I think wefwef is a silly name and I’m surprised that so many people in the comment section like it, because I find the name to be cringeworthy (sorry).
But of course, I will still continue to use this app regardless of what it’s called, just like I still use DuckDuckGo as my search engine, despite it having a ridiculous name lol.
Voyager, absolutely.
Wefwef is a great name! It's unique, short, doesn't seem to mean anything else (does it?) and names like "connect" are useless in app stores or searches.
Voyager is fine, although Wef Wef is such a nice, unique name I actually love it a lot.
No, I like the name wefwef! It is a perfectly fine name, it's unique to your project, granting you immediate recogniza- and googlability, and honestly, I don't understand most people advocating for a change. God forbid we had an app or service name that was a bit fun and unique for once! No, let's change the project name just as it's getting popular, confusing everyone and hurting your Google rank, just to have another bland and boring name instead that's completely forgettable and shared by hundreds of other things! Are most of these commenters, like, 12, and still at an age where it's very very important that your friends perceive you as using only what's a child's idea of "cool" stuff? I honestly can't think of any other reason. Name it Awesome Monster App then!
So, no, in short keep it at wefwef! Lowercase and fun pronunciation and all! And for next year's April Fool's, announce a big name change, and then reveal that name to be "weewee", just to fuck with all the haters. Wefwef is the best app/service name in years!

I believe the Dev said it isn’t an acronym, it’s just where he found his hands placed on his keyboard one day, the WEF keys.
I did ask GPT-4 to make an acronym for it anyways, and got:
W- Web
E- Enhanced
F- Fediverse
W- Webapp
E- Explorer
F- Framework
it stands for the app. that's literally all it stands for. I don't understand why that would be a bad thing though.

What’s in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet.
I like WefWef. like someone else mentioned, it makes me think of a little puppy learning to growl or bark, lol. Mostly though, its6 unique, easy to type, and gloriously well suited to finding via search engines. If you google "wefwef", the top result is your app's Github project, and the next few results are about the app as well. If you change to something like "Voyager", theres an awful lot of competition for those search results. It'll get buried under results about the space project and Star Trek. On a personal level aside from that, I'd vote for staying wefwef myself.

I don't see anything wrong with wefwef, it just looks like a modern nonsense brand-word and easy to remember too. My wife commented that it reminded her of WOOF from the office

I think a bigger concern would be that Voyager already exists as a Crypto App with a significant amount of downloads.
In the spirit of Apollo, other possible names could be Artemis, Soyuz, Phoebus, Orion, Helios, etc. There’s no shortage of space programs/deities to pick from.
Voyager goes well with the influx of refugees needing a new home

Someone already owns voyager.com - naming a product can be difficult these days as most common names are taken.

Maybe look and see whether there are other apps by the name first to avoid collision. Seems likely to be a common name.
