I coulda taken that job Lydia's dad offered me. It was boring, but it paid good. What's she up to these days let me head to google... oh wow, looks like she's doing really well for herself, holy shit look at that house. And she's single? Never gonna take me back now though, after she told me it was Trump or her, no matter what I do. God it was great laying in her arms. I never felt so relaxed. Well, time to get ready for my shift. I think we're taking kids from an elementary school playground today. Should be six or eight apiece if the numbers are right... Gun feels real heavy today, I can hardly get my belt buckled. I'll just set it here on the end table. Alright, gunbelt on, I'll just slip it into the holster. Oh wow, look how big the muzzle looks today. I never looked at it end on before. You can see the rifling. Is this the last thing those poor bastards see when it gets to be too much? Well, gotta go round up those kids. Look at that gaping maw just staring back at me. Damn kids usually cry and cry and cry the whole damn way. At least the adults just tell us to fuck off. Man I coulda been working in air conditioning all day long, going home to Lydia at night, in that house... I had friends I didn't work with then. Didn't have to hide my face to do my job. Gun feels real heavy today. Let me just pull it out one more time....
