One another Bitwarden user chiming in!

I started with LastPass but they started making things difficult enough on the mobile side that I decided to jump ships. Bitwarden also is a smoother app to use - LastPass felt clunkier (I've used only the free side on both).

For convenience, yes. I can't come up with and remember a different password for each different website.

I held off on using a password manager for a long time. I used an open source one for my buisness for a while but almost lost the file in a computer failure, lucky I had a backup.... . somewhere.

After that I looked at a cloud option and finally settled on one, then the business died down and I kept using it for my personal stuff. I can't believe I didn't use one earlier. Life is so much easier now, no need to go between my bad password, Medium, and strong. Everything just gets a random password now and no need to worry about a string of 2fa messages hitting my phone when a password gets pwned.

I wouldn't be able to make things work without a password manager. Except in my case I can't bring myself to trust an online third-party with my password data, so I've just being using an offline personal password manager called pwsafe for close to 2 decades, it's worked out perfect for me.

I use 1Password. Love it so far! it's been a smooth experience and it is cross platform.

Yea, if you want any kind of security for your online accounts it's a absolute must! I use Bitwarden, it's free, open source and easy to use with clients for all debices you might own but for more technical users Keepass is also a great opzion with even more clients available

Used Dashlane for a few years, but the lack of support for hardware keys made me switch to Keeper. Not sure hos happy I am with Keeper. Might have a look at others like Bitwarden when the subscription is about the end.

I could not recommend getting a password manager enough

This post is literally an pwns-list of users admitting what they use as password manager that may be stolen.

I encrypted an file, I put it on a device and mostly forgot it exists. Now if service locks me out I have go hunting.
