Enough Musk Spam

For those that have had enough of the Elon Musk worship online.

No flaming, baiting, etc. This community is intended for those opposed to the influx of Elon Musk-related advertising online. Coming here to defend Musk or his companies will not get you banned, but it likely will result in downvotes. Please use the reporting feature if you see a rule violation.

Opinions from all sides of the political spectrum are welcome here. However, we kindly ask that off-topic political discussion be kept to a minimum, so as to focus on the goal of this sub. This community is minimally moderated, so discussion and the power of upvotes/downvotes are allowed, provided lemmy.world rules are not broken.

Post links to instances of obvious Elon Musk fanboy brigading in default subreddits, lemmy/kbin communities/instances, astroturfing from Tesla/SpaceX/etc., or any articles critical of Musk, his ideas, unrealistic promises and timelines, or the working conditions at his companies.

Tesla-specific discussion can be posted here as well as our sister community /c/RealTesla.

Parasites like Musk wouldn't survive more than 2 months, if they couldn't rely on the work of others.
I'm willing to give him 2 months, because I think he'd manage to find water, but he'd be completely unable to feed himself.

Even if that's true, the rich would still be eaten, and that's the actual important bit.

Does Elon think people eat racist Twitter posts?

[–] ShaggySnacks@lemmy.myserv.one 2 points 2 weeks ago

Yes. Elon is that dumb.

Didn't Mamdani require a substantial input from the state government to balance the budget? Will it require those in the future or was it a one-time need?

We're already starting to starve! Fuck off Elon!

[–] piskertariot@lemmy.world 3 points 2 weeks ago

You know what? Let's try it anyway.

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 3 points 2 weeks ago

Lydia, why are you on that nazi platform?

[–] Taleya@aussie.zone 3 points 2 weeks ago

We're starving with the rich anyway, lets go out on a feast

I’m keeping an open mind about Mamdani but isn’t this a bit premature? Has there even been a tax season since he made his changes?

Let’s see how things are 5-10 years from now before judging the effects of Mamdani’s policies.

And, while we're waiting lets elect a lot more like him.

Much like anything on social media... we have yet another example of opinion masquerading as fact.

We clearly need to return to facts backed by rigorous testing. Lead by example I say: Let's gather up a few groups and let the numbers speak for themselves. None of that cherry picking with undersized groups. We'll clearly need to gather up a sufficent number of participants. We can even run several rounds of testing. Really just leave no question unanswered. Really explore the concept.

... It'd really just bring about that change we desperately need in this world. The scientific method really can just solve so many issues.

The problem with unfettered crony capitalism is eventually you run out of other people's labour and consumer money

[–] altkey@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 2 weeks ago

Is that the le epic trolling he is talking about?

[–] SethTaylor@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago
