The post title is too funny for me to be angry about this.
I will never understand keyboard hobbyists and the obsession over keycaps.
All you need is a good keyboard that does its job well, and is repairable.
This will sell out instantly
Last mechanical razer keyboard I bought didn't even save the color configuration after a reboot/shutdown. Like you HAD to use openrgb or the like. I very much regret that purchase.
i mean it is cool, but its nowhere near $90 cool
I could 3D print a coiled pile of ~~feces~~ snakes for only about 5 cents worth of PLA. It would even change color as the temperature changed.
That sounds cool! What are some stuff you printed with it?
That is awesome. Do they sell on Temu?
"Only real gamers have this keycap"
Real gamers can keep it.
I'd never buy one, but I see this as harmless as someone getting rims for their car.
Coming soon to a Goodwill near you!
Marketing being stupid again. But it's just an artisan keycap, they usually do cozt around this price, I find them neat 😅
Marketing: "oooooh smoke and mirrors! Cloak and dagger! More smoke, very mysterious you'll feel muhahahaaaa!" throwing things into a boiling kettle
Target audience: "mfr the planet is on fire and big brother is watching, wtf are you talking about?"
