I have been told by my doctor that she almost refuses to prescribe it due to all the negative side effects. She will try anything before recommending it. Trazadone worked great for me.
Tried it many years ago, and when I still couldn't fall asleep, I had what were basically waking nightmares.
No way I'd ever try it again.
Metallic taste in mouth and an unrestful sleep. If anxiety is keeping you awake like it was me, escitalopram has been life-changing.
Scary stuff. Like handing the reins to your id for the next 12 hours while being completely blacked out for the duration.
Been >10 years since I took any, or anything similar for that matter, and I don't plan to ever take that gamble again.
I don't have the slightest idea about who or what Ambien is.
