Original Title: A year or so ago I posted here about my website where I write and post free bedtime stories for kids and their parents. The response from this subreddit was extremely warm and motivating. One year later and I just finished my first bedtime novel (still free!)
When I initially posted about my website here, the response was incredible. I thought now would be a good time to stop by again and say thanks and show that I've been keeping at it and the project is still alive!
A big thank you to everyone who liked and supported that initial post. This is such a brilliant subreddit for getting behind new ideas and projects. I hope you get a kick out of The Beast of the Forest!
About The Beast of the Forest: this is the story of a small medieval era farm town with a local legend of a beast lurking in the forest. One day, to try and prove his friends wrong, a young boy named Jimmy sets off into the forest to try and prove that the beast is just a silly myth. As you might expect, things don't quite go to plan.
