Is there a way to make opening links in new tabs a default behaviour?

I think that depends on your app/browser, not Mander

Found an extension that works for other sites, but not this site. Probably something to do with the domain.

What extension is it? I can take a look.

I usually click CTRL when clicking links so that they open in new tabs.

Fully aware of right-click functionality. I had a browser extension for Reddit which made it default, I miss it. I was just wondering if it could be made an option.

Good news @PancakeLegend@mander.xyz - I just learned that the next release will probably include an option to set this as the default behavior: https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy-ui/pull/2032

Lol, beautiful. Thank you Sal. open_links_in_new_tab?: boolean;

I guess that doesn't really address the issue, but I usually use middle-click
