The hyperloop thing is so fucking dumb. It sounds like a great idea if you're high and don't understand all the technical challenges associated with it.

We have some great already proven technology, it's called fucking trains.

This is another grift from those adjacent to and the greatest grifter since the wizard himself.

"But the Musk made a white paper about it! It's his idea and its brilliant!"

Had this told to me the other day by a fan.

I love the veneer of credibility a white paper gives. I should write one: "Novel Cancer Treatment and the Efficacy of Deez Nuts"

"Do your own research!"

The only thing standing between you and grifted cash is pesky morals.

Exactly my first thought.

It's more of a Shelbyville idea...

Wait just a minute, tell us the idea and we'll vote for it

Would you rather spend 15 minutes in a cramped windowless pod, or 40 minutes in a spacious train with a bathroom and snacks, looking out the window at the Minnesota countryside?

Right now is not the time for that argument. I think I'd prefer the pod.

A small part of me wants the hyperloop grift to make it a little bit further, just far enough to be protested, just because the protest signs will be hilarious. But as much as I want to wave a sign around with Thomas the Tank engine reading Choo Choo Motherfucker, or perhaps just Build a Train, Dumbass this feels like an irresponsible use of my tax dollars.
