I love that this game continues to get better and better!
I'm really loving the beta so far.
I have a question tho. Did the pickaxe weapon ability receive a buff alongside the other duelist weapons? It's not in the patch notes, and it looks to be the same damage.
The pickaxe ability in particular was not buffed. I'm fine with it being useful against certain enemies, but in general the pickaxe isn't meant to be a viable weapon option.
I understand what you mean, but what about as a secondary weapon?
I think it's one of the most viable "secondary" weapon option for the champion, it synergizes so well with the combined lethality talent.
You're welcome to still use it for that of course, I mainly meant that I felt the ability was a little too good for the type of item that the pickaxe is supposed to be, so it's not getting buffed up with the overall Duelist changes.
Something I've never quite managed to understand is what it means in the description by saying "enemies with rigid skin". I thought that was the crystal boss and gnoll boss but they're both immune to weapon abilities...
rigid skin includes any enemy that doesn't have squishly mammal skin. So things like insectiod, skeletal, or mechanical enemies all count.
It would be cool if the new Alchemy "make it again" button would put your newly-upgraded trinket back on the left. That would save an entire tap! Think of how many calories less I could eat in a day in which I use that button.
