Spent way too long on this. Also maddening that I resized everything to fit my .96" width gold and black labels, only to find out there is an ⅛ inch margin on the gold labels or something, that I couldn't get rid of. Why even pay more for the 1 inch labels if you can't actually do anything in the extra space?! If anyone can recommend a good way to share .lbx files in Lemmy, please let me know, and I will be happy to share. Fonts are MADE Outer Sans Alt, and Berthold City Light (stretched out).

Community description

!labelmakers is for people who use labels to make life feel calmer, more artistic, and more intentional. Share templates, layouts, and labeling systems for any label maker or label design software; from pantry jars and storage bins to cables, tools, and office chaos. Practical wins matter; so does typography, spacing, consistency, and the small satisfaction of a good looking system.

Native formats vary; sharing what you have is the point! Conversions are optional, not expected.

Templates; requests; tips; showcases. Any label ecosystem welcome. Share your native file if you can; include a preview so others can recreate it anywhere.

Rules

A1) Be kind! critique the work, not the person. A2) Share only what you have rights to share; no stolen packs; no copyrighted logos or brand artwork. A3) Keep it reproducible; include the Spec Block for templates. A4) No personal data; blur names, addresses, phone numbers, account numbers, and scannable codes tied to real people. A5) No spam; no affiliate flooding; occasional self links are fine when genuinely useful.

Posting instructions

B1) preferably Start titles with one tag: [TEMPLATE] [REQUEST] [HELP] [SHOWCASE] B2) Template posts should include: native file if possible; plus a preview image; plus the Spec Block below. B3) Request posts should include: size or tape width; use case; style notes; any constraints like freezer safe or waterproof. B4) Format conversion is not required; recreations are welcome. A good request is “here’s a preview; can someone recreate this for my tool.”

Template posts should include this Spec Block: Size or tape width: Use case: Material: Device and app: Files included: Fonts: Notes:
