I’ve already seen several trending posts on here along the lines of “I have xx scientific background, never thought this was legit, is it?” Etc. etc. Totally happy to have anyone and everyone who is interested and enthusiastic about learning more.

I just want it to be clear: this subject is the target of relentless past, present, and future disinformation, bad actors, conflicting accounts, and well-meaning irrational people. At every level. This is and likely always will be true.

Yes, UFOs are legitimate and nonhuman, yes it is fascinating to study them. But you must be aware of and wary of these “bad actors”, grifters, etc., and also be willing to sift through them. There’s an incredible amount of publicly available information on the subject, but you must check your sources, be willing to be wrong, and keep an open mind. It’s not as simple as learning other topics because of this environment of conflicting interests.

Just an example, you have

  1. many of us - the curious, open minded, wanting to know what’s happening.
  2. the citizens, both on this sub and not, that do not believe it and are not curious.
  3. the citizens that have an interest in it being shut down, whether due to fear/personal conflict, commercial interest, etc.
  4. the government and/or private parties that do not want this information released.
  5. the government employees that do want this more open.
  6. the gov and private groups that have religious, national security, etc. fears about releasing info.
  7. the nonhuman intelligences themselves - motive unknown

Any topic is influenced by the different interests, but the sheer number of potential impacts this one could have has led to a messy web, that stretches decades. You can still figure it out, it just takes a little longer.

Seeing a ton of comments saying he was annoying/inconsiderate/mocking Lue.

ABSOLUTELY NOT.

I thought he did a brilliant job, better than any other interviewer so far.

Ronny Chieng is very intelligent dude who usually plays dumb for the bit. This was totally the right tactic here to get the general population to question this properly.

He didn’t mock or once insinuate that Lue was lying. He has read Lue’s book and it’s full of sticky notes so he obviously did a deep dive into it.

When Lue was telling him the info he acted overly shocked, mind blown and made jokes as if hearing it for the first time, this relays to the audience “wait what!?” As most people’s reaction to hearing this for the first time would also be the same: “FUCKING ALIENS!?”

I think this interview alone is going to be a huge turning point for the general public to question the truth and I think Ronnie Chieng is a big reason why. I’d love to see them sit down for a longer less edited conversation.

Seems like the ball is starting to gain quite a bit of traction on the other side of the pond, but it’s disappointing that the UK seems to be completely ignoring the issue. I seem to remember the last government briefly talking about it in some inquiry meeting but other than that there has been nothing.

I think the template letters to members of congress posts we see the Americans using on here are a great idea. Maybe the Brits should start doing the same to their local MPs??? I can’t wait any longer to find out the truth (whatever the hell it may be) and would love to push this along as much as possible

I made a similar post a week or so ago regarding the Joe Rogan podcast. I got a few replies, ranging from him not supporting the UAPDA to saying that he did mention it(though I wasn't provided a time stamp). Now I've since watched the TOE (Theory of Everything), CNN, and The Daily Show interviews and no mention of the UAPDA by name. I did notice him mention it in the Good Troube Interview, but (no offense) it's not exactly primetime. At this point I'm beginning to think it's intentional. I'm not sure why this wouldn't be the first thing he points to when discussing the matter of disclosure, especially given that the legislation is currently in play and team disclosure seem to be trying to draw as much attention to it as possible. I plan on listening to the Joe Rogan podcast again and see if I just missed it, but the others I'm sure of. If you disagree, please provide video links with timestamps showing where the UAPDA was specifically mentioned. My hope is that Lue has failed to mention this by accident and if we bring enough attention to it, word will get to him and he'll correct course before his next interview.

Lue’s Daily Show chat has raised a lot of eyebrows. A lot of people are reacting with a “What did I just hear?! Is this real? Where have I been all this time? Was I lied to and taught to ridicule the truth?”

We need people to be good stewards of this subject. We need folks to offer valid and reliable information.

We need people to be kind, understanding and supportive. Do not be arrogant. Don’t be condescending.

We need folks to share their own experiences in a way that won’t spook the average non believer. And we need to start sharing visuals if possible.

We should all make newcomers aware of the current legislation and make it very easy for them to understand it and support it.

Thanks all.

Go Disclosure.

I have no proof. The entire experience lasted less than 10 seconds. I’m open to it being a trick of the eye or I’m insane.

Story: I was driving on a 2 lane road headed to my cabin in Northern Michigan. It was a sunny blue sky day with no clouds. It was around 5:00pm. I was driving along, nothing but farms on either side of me for miles. I look up and see what looks like a 747 doing an extreme turn so you can only see the wings in a straight diagonal line from my perspective. I thought that was weird cuz there’s no airports around and if you see planes up there they are little dots cursing at higher altitudes. Then I realized I wasn’t looking at a plane. It was a long cigar shaped thing. It didn’t have a color and was almost iridescent. I remember saying out loud to myself “is that a fucking UAP?” then it literally vanished. It didn’t shoot off at an insane rate of speed. It just disappeared.

I don’t know what I saw, but I know I saw something. I just wanted to make this post to help process it. I suppose it could have been some weird weather phenomenon like a mirage on hot pavement? I have no idea.

Anyways that’s my story. Add it to the pile of other UAP sightings and do with it what you will.

The top comment (by adamsterish) on The Daily Show's Luis Elizondo interview is about the UAP Disclosure Act (UAPDA). Great! Public exposure! A quick read of the UAPDA text can be really impactful to newcomers.

What's not great is how replies to that comment have been ~~deleted~~ filtered.

The 16th reply to the top comment says:

psychopathicjuggaloA: Where can one read this bill cause I just looked for longer than I'd like to admit

This is an important comment. If you're completely new to UAP, then finding the latest UAPDA text - Senate Amendment 2610 - isn't trivial. You're more likely to find the text for the watered down 2023 UAP National Archives legislation and wonder what the fuss is about.

I was monitoring the top comment thread throughout the night and observed numerous replies to this question. But the replies were always ~~deleted~~ filtered within 10 seconds. I'm not just talking about links either. Simple text replies saying how to find the UAPDA text - without any links - were also ~~removed~~ filtered.

6 hours later, I've finally made a reply (#50) stick using a throwaway account by being as obtuse as possible. ~~Or perhaps the "moderator" has just gone to bed 🤷~~

Did anyone else notice this? Why was this happening?

I'm an open-minded skeptic and I don't want to encourage baseless conspiracies. But this was plain weird.

Edit: Updated with strikethroughs thanks to response from u/wheels405

To be frank , have that terrified feeling in my gut . Is this for real. Is US govt , actually going to confess the existence of aliens . I’m not shaken . It’s bit of twist in my world view . Don’t know how to digest this stuff . Where to start & I have zero knowledge of what to expect. Always thought Roswell & rest of it is more like a tourist attraction. If I have to understand this , where to start ? Is it like an Independence Day aliens or something else ?

Thanks to all who have been reading this series the past week. Again, this was bonkers enough to research and has felt bonkers to walk around with and now feels bonkers to write. This whole story isn't just that we're not alone, that NHI are here, whatever they are, but that the real secrecy behind this subject has largely to do with a small group from the outset exploiting exotic tech for their own gain and then essentially dictating how those of us not in power lived for the next eighty years.

Here are parts 1-4:

Part 1:

Part 2:

Part 3:

Part 4:

The original players were the Bush family and their associates before, during and after WWII after recovering the Magenta, Italy 1933 crash via backchanneling from the Vatican, and then these same people setting up the CIA post-Roswell to hide what they were doing as they recovered more UFO/UAP crash-retrievals, build the US MIC, and help destroy the world.

In Part Five of this series, we'll start with EG&G. I only knew to start pulling on that thread months ago after rewatching a talk that Ross Coulthart gave at the Victorian State Library on August 12, 2023, especially the last five minutes, timestamped here:

I really recommend the whole talk as well as the Q&A, and he returned a couple of months later for a long talk.

First, he brings up a patch that reads 'Measure, Analyze, Protect' that he'd shown earlier in his talk right about 4:00 in. In that first bit of info about the patch, one that he got from a guy who had a relative who worked at Area 51, he talks about how he first brought up the patch on a recent-at-the-time Need to Know Podcast episode, and because Ross didn't actually have the patch at the time, a lot of skeptics and debunkers started calling them out. This infuriated the guy so much that he said "fuck it, you can run it," so Ross presented that patch here for the first time.

'Measure, Analyze, Protect' patch by a secret Area 51

The patch belongs to a team at Area 51 that is involved in reverse-engineering, and the relative worked there as a data configuration specialist, in charge of collecting data from engineering tests and storing it in large, secure vaults. He had access that many others didn't. He worked with a group of ten individuals who worked on terrestrial craft, but he alleged that are groups within EG&G, the former administrators of Area 51. There was an EG&G engineer who told relatives in 1997 that he and his team had been working on non-human technology. He said that in the room where this material was kept, there was a huge image on the wall of an egg-shaped craft that had been found fully intact, resting on the desert floor of a remote US location. Basically the picture of the patch came from that data configuration specialist's study when the young man who was very interested in Area 51 took it.

Jump to the last four-plus minutes in the original clip above when he brings the patch back up and proceeds to talk about the fifteenth episode of season one of Star Trek: The Next Generation titled "11001001, first broadcast in 1988, before that photo was snapped. I actually watched this episode twice when I first watched this talk. It's about these binary aliens called the Bynars who steal the Enterprise to save their home planet from the shockwaves of a supernova that would destroy the computers that would keep life going on their planet and store the data of their planet on the Enterprise. Ross says the episode's about the power and dangers of technology, but that he still can't figure out what the patch includes the 11001001 and asks the audience (which includes us!) to try and figure it out. The guy who owned the patch had a conversation with a scientist who told him there was a crash retrieval program.

Ross then goes on to say that info came from someone with direct knowledge of a crash retrieval program at Area 51. The guy then goes on to say that Bob Lazar did work at Area 51 but only for a brief period of time and doesn't know as much as he lets on, that most of it is fabricated nonsense. In actuality, the guy says, they could never figure out how the craft worked, nor could they even open it, and that S-4 is only a group of radio towers. He says there are no hangars built into the side of the mountain housing nine saucers as Lazar claims. Said there was no way Lazar smuggled out the up close picture of the egg-shaped craft because they and their vehicles are routinely searched, and no one wants to take the risk because it's a nice place to work. People work for the long haul, to retire, with companies like EG&G and JT4. Assumed that since this was going to be online, people were going to nuts. Did that ever happen?

Pulling all this from EG&G's Wikipedia:

EG&G, formally known as Edgerton, Germeshausen, and Grier, Inc., was a United States national defense contractor and provider of management and technical services. The company was involved in contracting services to the United States government during World War II and conducted weapons research and development during the Cold war era (from 1948 and onward).[1]: 3 It had close involvement with some of the government's most sensitive technologies.

Early history

In 1931, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) professor Harold Edgerton, a pioneer of high-speed photography, partnered with his graduate student Kenneth Germeshausen to found a small technical consulting firm.[2] The two were joined by fellow MIT graduate student Herbert E. Grier in 1934. Bernard "Barney" O'Keefe became the fourth member of their fledgling technology group.

The group's high-speed photography was used to image implosion tests during the Manhattan Project. The same skills in precisely timed high-power electrical pulses also formed a key enabling technology for nuclear weapon triggers. After the war, the group continued their association with the burgeoning military nuclear effort and formally incorporated Edgerton, Germeshausen, and Grier, Inc. in 1947.[3]

[This is that 1947 reference, the digital records site for Edgerton. Funny enough the company was called EGG initially.]

EG&G the Company: 1947 Onwards

The three colleagues and friends Harold Edgerton, Kenneth Germeshausen, and Herbert Grier became an incorporated partnership in 1947 at the request of the Atomic Energy Commission. Now known as EG&G, Inc., they designed and operated systems that timed and triggered nuclear bomb tests.

So EG&G was initially a high-speed photography company used by the US military to film nuclear tests, among other things, and post-Roswell, the AEC asked the company to become more official in order to contract out weapons-testing services, among other things. Sounds like EG&G was the OG private contractor hiding work being done by the USG.

1950s and 1960s

**During the 1950s and 1960s, EG&G was involved in nuclear tests as a major contractor for the Atomic Energy Commission. EG&G made extensive use of the Nevada Test Site (NTS) for weapons development and high-technology military testing at Nellis AFB. EG&G has shared operations responsibility for the NTS with Livermore Labs, Raytheon ...

So, I just finished the Daily Show interview with Luis Elizondo, and I'm a little bit shaken. I'm a long-time skeptic and former Physics major (3 years), so I'm well-aware that the probability of intelligent aliens existing somewhere in the universe is very, very high. That being said, I never imagined they would be close enough for this kind of communication. Am I to understand that this guy is telling the truth? Aliens are actually both real and currently attempting to communicate with (or at least examine) humanity?

SS: (Whoops forgot to include, once again). Wish Jon had been here for this one, but interesting to watch. HArd to get a read on Ronny... On one hand he's acting like eh's totally blown away, and on the other he's acting like he's read the book. I guess that's media-world for you. Def felt liek this was a spokesman of the military speaking, but if nothign else, it was good to see Elizondo having a laugh and smiling.
