Except some content is produced independently (of those outlets) by "influencers", hence it makes sense to list them. Furthermore, I bet that for a huge proportion of the later generations these influencers are the main avenue to consuming News... specially if we added tiktoks, X, and all the crap.

I think it depends on the intent in the groupings. Is it money flow? Then it makes sense. Is it editorial influence? Then it seems to make less sense.
