I had an argument about Black hair styles being banned in schools with a user who turned out to be sealioning. The user tried to frame it as solely a men's issue. The user went so far as to try to invent a cultural history of long hair styles for white men in the US. When in fact, this issue disproportionately affects Black women. The user of course ignored all the data from the study that I cited in my argument. edit: typo
