I have a half baked theory that Donny doesnt actually want to win because winning means actually doing the job again, possibly being shot at again, etc.
Why deal with that level of stress when you can just preach rhetoric, claim you were robbed, it was rigged, the system was out to get you and ask for donations to fight "them".
Edit: Thats why he chose Vance, the more I learn about him the more I think "Why tho?"
I think he fears jail without the presidency, though.
Oh I think he absolutely does, but so far he has dodged it and as sad as it is, if he doesnt get elected I can see a lot of the enthusiasm for holding him accountable dropping off as most people will just be glad that he is a significantly smaller threat and dont want to lend credibility to his "witch hunt" claims... Let the old man yell at clouds.
