s2g if they wanted to fix the state deficit, put fucking ticket cops on chesterville road. The number of defects and speeding fines would buy us a whole new rail system.

I did a 5 year stint in st Albans, and it was always funny seeing how many people would run the red light, or speed, along Taylor's Rd, particularly at the Arthur Street intersection. Never really saw cops around much either. I liked to tell people who'd never been to st Albans before that it was because the last time cops tried to park up and fine people, the kids in the area through rocks at their windows, and then we all teamed up and tipped their cop car over. I think the more depressing reality is that there were probably only 5 cops at Keilor Downs police station, and most of them were preoccupied with domestic violence calls, and the resulting paperwork. Ironically Taylor's Rd is the nicer end of town, too
