Don't. No. No anko stuff.

My anko heater from Kmart burst into flames last year. And it eats electricity like a fucking beast.

I haven't had many issues with their heaters. Always get your electronics test and tagged yearly if you can, and make sure you keep the elements free of dust (use an air duster monthly to make sure nothing accumulates on the heating elements)

Heaters are definitely something you don't want to FAFO with. I got lucky with an op shop find of a decent oil fin heater and then being gifted a nice DeLonghi wall mountable electric heater in almost new condition after my neighbour passed away...
