Lavender and bees are so beautiful together. The bright and pale purples, and muted greens, contrast so prettily with the golden yellow of the bees.

We could see their little legs laden with pollen. Gosh I love them.

Same with my perpetually flowering prostrate rosemary - always so lovely seeing them stand out against the foliage (though lavender has a nicer green for this!)

I've had bees come to my orchids all winter, maybe I should try get some pics for you.
