Yeah, that's pretty much it. Get him to take his temperature and adjust meds as needed. Make sure he's eating (eggs and chicken are doing the job). It's way easier than a toddler.

Last night we ended up watching old Simpson's eps and he fell asleep on the couch, where I left him.

thats so strange to me. I'm so used to them being dependent on us. Not sure how it'll feel when that comes to an end.

It was quite gradual, so you don't really notice until one day you do notice and then you need a moment to gather yourself.

The journey was all worth it. I still look back at hiking photos from like 4 years ago and kids look like totally different people.

The best part is that they can help out with stuff. This Friday I've got some minor maintenance items to attend to at home, and my son will be helping whether he likes it or not.
