I ordered some regular baby items from Chemist Warehouse online. I'm hoping they track the transaction on my account and send me emails when they stuff goes on sale again. You've got to use surveillance capitalism to your benefit sometimes.

But.... I just want milk that tastes like real milk

I hate that to survive I must trawl through specials and deals, that are still more costly than the specials and deals a few years ago.

I almost wish I didn't move into an apartment that gets so little sun; could have had a garden and grown some food to offset some costs.

I understand that. Things would be so much better if housing also included things like chicken coops and greenhouses. There's a chapter about it in The Conquest of Bread and it makes me sad thinking about what we could have had

Low fat, not fat, Full Creme, High Calcium, High Protein, Soy, Light, Skim Omega 3 or... (something) with extra Dollop?

Just off the top of my head I think I did ok there.
