Being apolitical is just accepting status quo which is, funnily enough, also an explicit political stance.
You can vote without having 70 % of your feed filled with the fucked up USA politics.
To be fair, voting is less than the bare minimum effort required to enact meaningful change.
And how can you know what meaningful change even is without staying on top of current events?
I can stay on top of current events without needing to see 28485838283 memes about how big Kamala's dick is, or how small Trump's is, or how Israel is doing bad things to palistine. Memes are the bumper stickers of the internet, they do not inform people about anything except the OPs opinions or sense of humor.
You just equated blocking c/politics with being broadly pro status quo. You can be politically engaged and active and not like the discussions on c/politics.
No, i equated being apolitical with being pro status quo. Being apolitical was implied by not wanting to hear about politics and reaching "inner peace" as a result.

Lemmy was made by Communists, it has a ton of Communists and Anarchists as a consequence. Believe it or not, Leftist outreach is working on Lemmy.

No one is saying it will. Lots of folks in leftist spaces advocate for getting in the streets, unionizing your workplace, and organizing in socialist organizations. If you're a socialist, it's time to find a socialist organization to join. Can't find any local chapters? Start your own. Don't like any local organizations? Join one and work to improve it.
Course not, that's why I always tell people to read theory and join an org like PSL or FRSO.
I know for a fact I have gotten a few dozen people to read at least a little bit of theory, converted a few to Marxism-Leninism, and helped encourage at least one comrade to join an org. The numbers are low, yes, but that's important nonetheless.
It won't happen online so just give up and ignore what's happening. This is so defeatist and exactly what corrupt politicians want, apathy.
There is a list of people I have radicalized, actually.
And obviously this is not an echo chamber. Tell people not to vote for a blue team genocider and libs freak out.
You can always go back to reddit. First of all, to even consider .ml "left wing echo chamber" you need to be more far right than Hitler*, since even open genocide support argued by a lot of people here** is "left wing" to you? Difference is, .ml admins arent US govt bootlickers unlike reddit admins and you can't just scream for them to shut us communists like you people did on reddit.
*Oh, an .worlder, figures.
**Mostly .worlders and such, the fact such a genocidal proaganda isn't banned on sight is a visible testament to .ml not being an echo chamber.
