A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. The best ones are thoughts that many people can relate to and they find something funny or interesting in regular stuff.

Maybe the horrors of Hell are not sprung on you all at once and are a slow boil frog scenario, like when SiriusXM decides to play an English lyric Ariana Grande song on one of their Latino channels. (lemmy.world)

Context:

Just a white guy trying to learn Spanish and I have discovered some great Spanish language music bands/artists like Little Jesus, Mala Rodríguez, Bomba Estéreo, Ana Tijoux, Buscabulla, Babasonicos, Latin Mafia, Soda Stereo, Mon Laferte, Hello Seahorse!, etc.

So, I sign up for a free 3 month trial of SiriusXM. They only have 5 Latino channels, some for Rancheras, Cumbias, and classics but channel 151 xLHtsUno plays modern stuff. The problem is it's about 95% Reggaeton and it seems like the other 5% is English language music. They have 100 other channels to play Ariana Grande and JLo English songs on. WTF?!

On the flip side, Heaven would be a song from the Latin Beats channel slipping into the regular Top 50 channel.
