If my sister can grow banananananas in Jacana, then you can too where you are. Hers even ripened and were edible if not quite as good as Qld ones. That was last summer, which wasn't ideal weatherwise. Best of fortune for your banananananas.

I grew some bananas here in Carlton. Just make sure you have the right kind of banana, not all are edible.

oh I know I can grow banannanas down here, been doing it since 2017. finally able to bed up the beast instead of potting it
