Easier. Write a executive order that bans convicted felons from the office if the conviction involved truthfulness.

It should be illegal anyway but it just isn't.

I mean felons can't vote, own a gun, or work in lots of jobs, I foresee a felon filing suit on job discrimination and winning. If a felon can be president is there really any reason they can't do anything else?
