Events dominate the net and its farken crazy how many people are blaming harris for trump winning.

The fuck is wrong with that country. Chunks of them chose not to vote, or to purity politic, half of them were stupid enough to vote for the persimmon emperor, how the fuck is it 'the dems fault'.

Absolute abrogation of personal responsibility.

They're πŸ‘πŸΌ not πŸ‘πŸΌ a πŸ‘πŸΌ democracy πŸ‘πŸΌ until πŸ‘πŸΌ they πŸ‘πŸΌ have πŸ‘πŸΌ compulsory πŸ‘πŸΌ voting πŸ‘πŸΌ

Indeed, that's what my partner said lol

The problem lies within the political parties and the nomination process. The parties are easily corrupted and taken over from within.

We need a system where it is easier for new parties to form and get elected.

I think thats really just down to the media. Like the media is how newer parties get known so they can actually capture the vote, and its also why the LNP keep getting voted in so frequently.

They could seriously benefit from preferential voting, too.

Edit: Just checked, they are actively undoing progress in this area in Alaska. Lol.

That country is so broken. I've only just gotten over my anger due to the significant impact it has on mine and my partner's future. Still avoiding most of the interwebs.

Seriously, what the fuck is wrong with them? How's Ukraine going to survive this? What can this dickhead of a loveable punk (me) do to fix it all?

people underestimate how conservate immigrants can be

underestimate the influence of religion

and underestimate how far America has come in removing inequalities, even most Republicans now support all the civil rights changes enacted over the past 5 decades. This is why being told they are racist made them feel upset.

I do blame Dems for bringing in Identity Politics, it was an active choice in the 70s, it wasn't about civil rights, it was about targeting voting blocks. What it did do was undo a sense of national identity. People weren't Americans anymore, they were now Black or White or Latino, etc etc
