I didn't realise the new stuff was mods and I've just been playing regular factorio for the last week. I should have been in space two science packs ago!
What? I had to uninstall Factorio to install Space Age on my machine (Linux) - I'm pretty sure I see new stuff in the tree, although I'm still building from scratch in the rare time I get to play.
I sure hope I don't have to install mods! I'm trying to keep this play clean.
You don't need mods, it's a DLC, not a mod.
I think it's both. You activate and deactivate it in the mods menu.
Yeah, I played the 2.0 vanilla for a week or so after the update came out (comes with quality and elevated trains mods), then bought the DLC and it loads in as a mod as well.
