Well the meeting wasn't too bad. Still got blamed for the inadequacy of the project team, but the heat was lower than expected thankfully ❀️

Edit: Just got a call for another job that pays 1/3rd more. Fuck it let's see what happens.

That project team that you didnt even set up or have any control over? and thats been long established since before you joined? Classic management.

It sounds like the client is blaming you because you're the main person they interact with. You have no control on the actual work that gets done on their account.

All I can do is hassle the project manager or project engineers to get updates.

Today I was told in the future if I need to escalate, go straight to the general manager which is cool at least

Damn straight man. If I want to be a prick, I'll email them asking for an update and cc the general manager lol
