the park thing is lovely. There were some teens jumping off the bridge into the lagoon thing that I wasn't sure if that was safe or not.

We used to have a rope there, and surf the incoming tide through the gates.

oh cool. I guess safe then. Guessing the whole point is giving the community somewhere to swim without messing about with the wetlands?

It gets a bit muddy where the mangroves are. And being a bay, the only waves we got were there, and it's away from the boat ramp.
