I can see why bad experiences make women want to pursue other options. We went to a natural birthing class with a doula and even in that class there was a vibe of not going to the hospital.
We went to one aimed at dads and it was SUPER anti hospital too. Mind you, the Mrs’s experience wasnt amazing, but the story probably woulda been worse at home!
oh yeah, doulas are a big thing in America. The country with the worst maternal infant mortality rate of the industrialised countries.
