Typically it’s toilet humor (which the Australian viewers are more casual about), but apparently there’s some cut/altered/restored content on both sides of the fence. https://blueypedia.fandom.com/wiki/Censorship_of_Bluey has the breakdown by season. Look for reasons with “Regional difference” in bold. Lots of things that “might be dangerous” are cut in the BBC versions. I find it kinda funny, but maybe I’m a dumb American lout. For example, in an episode about playing with balloons, they cut a scene showing Bluey blowing up the balloon because of “concerns about children with asthma wanting to do the act” 🙄

Cut sequences: ... the scene where Bluey talks underwater because talking underwater may be dangerous and can cause drowning.

What's the target audience of this show?

Apparently, it's hospitalised children with severe asthma, allergies and motor disabilities. I'm glad someone finally thinks of them.

Haha! I was curious because I collect physical media and plan on getting the new Bluey S01-S03 DVD set next month. I've only seen the show on Disney+ but it looks like the DVD is from the BBC.

I guess there's no way to get the show uncensored then?

Yarrrrr there’s ways to get everything!

I avoid piracy if I can support a work physically by buying it (or even digitally if it's on iTunes cuz I can removed the DRM).

Turns out that the Blu-Ray version of this does have banned episodes so I'll be getting that one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R3U5FN9UX6QFV5?ASIN=B0DFWKTXTD

That’s fair! If I paid for every movie and show I watched, I would have negative money. I only have HBO and tons of private trackers and hard drives.

Quick edit: I do pay for smaller productions. I’m happy to support Not4Sale: TV Sheriff and the Trailbuddies.
