Sicko is a 2007 American political documentary film by filmmaker Michael Moore. Investigating health care in the United States, the film focuses on the country's health insurance and the pharmaceutical industry. Moore compares the for-profit non-universal U.S. system with the non-profit universal health care systems of Canada, the United Kingdom, France and Cuba.

...

On December 13, 2024, in the aftermath of the Killing of Brian Thompson, which renewed public criticism of the health insurance industry, Moore uploaded the entirety of Sicko to YouTube on his official channel,[13] arguing for health care reform as a "solution that does not involve any violence".

Derogatory accusations without any (trustworthy) sources to back them up - extremely difficult to take you seriously, and makes one wonder about your true motivations for even bothering to comment.

I'm not the person you were responding to but here is why I agree with them.

He makes disingenuous arguments and misleading edits in his films. He edits speeches together to misrepresent what people said. Lies about things like having his mic cut. Makes up or misrepresents statistics Etc.

I usually somewhat agree with his overall position but if I didn't his films and speeches would never change my mind.

He is about as trustworthy as Dinesh D'Souza just with a different political agenda.

I think he's misrepresented some things in the past but he's very clearly correct on this issue so why bring it up?

I'm not sure you meant to say that to me? If you did, I'm not sure what you're saying.

Sorry, I'm saying Moore has indeed had some issues before but I'm agreeing with you that he's right here.
