You should read the article. Also, co2 by big tech was actually stabilising or even dropping, until the moment they all went raging horny for LLMs, which uses so insanely much energy that the existing coal, gas, nuclear and renewables are not even remotely enough and big tech is now getting additional nuclear online for their garbage AI.
