Hello fellow Cyanide and Happiness fans!
About this community and how I post the comics… Many moons ago, I would ask my Dad to save the newspaper for me everyday so I could read my favorite comic strips. Of course these days you can read your favorite comics online instead of a newspaper, but I love the nostalgia of reading the daily comics. Anyway, one of my favorite current comics is Cyanide and Happiness and I will be posting the daily release from their website (https://explosm.net/) and a an extra or two randoms.
Cyanide & Happiness (C&H) is a webcomic created by Rob DenBleyker, Kris Wilson, Dave McElfatrick and Matt Melvin. The comic has been running since 2005 and is published on the website explosm.net along with animated shorts in the same style. Can someone explain the last two panels?
I'm pretty sure that was his body but he was sent back, so hes looking at the guy that just executed him
That doesn’t explain much to be honest.
Is the joke that he is being executed for time crimes and that is a line of other time versions of himself?
What is the deal with the green shirt pointy hat buddy and why does it lead to being send back?
I can only imagine heaven story arc is about christ in the bible. Yet closest relevant fitting character i can find is Santa Elf.

I was confused as well, but looking at the comments I started looking at the site and it looks like that it is a running gag that happens on every January 1st and I think it started in 2006.

Edit: looks like starting 2023 it is new-years instead of newyears
