Australia’s economy has gone from close to the worst-managed in the OECD, according to data from the IMF, the UBS, the World Bank, the OECD, Trading Economics and elsewhere, to near the top today.

The ABC’s unawareness of these major shifts is an indictment of its inability to monitor critical data.

Nah they forget they’re the left of centre party and are handing a win to libs because of it.

  • Outlawed vapes
  • Legalised vapes again but now you need a prescription and can only buy from pharmacies (gotta wring them tax dollars)
  • Snuck in change to TGA to also outlaw dry herbs vapes and schedule cannabis on the same level as morphine
  • Have done fuck all about housing or inflation
  • During a cost of living crisis, Centrelink (welfare) is still unliveable
  • Focused making NDIS more “financially stable”
  • Went ahead with a costly referendum that trashed relations with indigenous Australian
  • The under 16 ban for social media (while I agree with it) was poorly planned, rushed and handed Libs easy sound bites
  • Worked with the coalition to take over CFMEU (a union) and appoint an administrator. Many members now want to disaffiliate with labour because of it.

Feels like labour is now lib lite, pissing off their own voters as well as lib voters for not doing enough.

Labor haven't been left wing for decades, but they are a vaguely competent liberal party as opposed to the vastly incompetent conservative coalition.
