Whether it be electronics, automobiles or medical equipment, the manufacturers should not be able to horde “oem” parts, render your stuff useless if you repair it with aftermarket parts, or hide schematics of their products.

It's an AEG model I think, sold under the IKEA FRAMTID series (OV9 model). Thermostat is an EGO 55.17253.120. Similar thermostats are barely cheaper than a new identical model where I live.
